Often this can be solved by one or more of the following steps:
- Enabling your camera.
- Disabling pop-up blockers.
- Clearing browsing history.
To enable your camera:
If you are using the Safari browser on an iPhone, follow the instructions below:
- Go to your device Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Safari.
- Locate Camera under Settings for Websites.
- Select Camera, here you will see what your access is set to.
- You can either set your access to Ask or Allow. Ask will give you a prompt in the browser that will ask permission to use the camera.
- Choose Allow.
Once you have checked and/or updated your camera settings in Safari log back in and proceed with ID Verification.
To disable pop-up blockers:
If you are using the Chrome browser on a desktop computer, follow the instructions below:
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the window.
- Click Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Click Advanced at the bottom of your screen.
- Click Site Settings.
- Scroll down and click pop-ups and redirects.
- Turn on the toggle at the top of your screen. You will know it is turned on if it is blue and the text to the left reads Allowed.
This will allow all pop-ups on Chrome. If you want to continue to block most pop-ups, you can add exceptions for certain sites. Just click the Add button next to the Allow option. Then enter a URL and click OK.
To clear your browser's history:
On a Mac using the Chrome browser
- On your keyboard press Command + Shift + Delete
- Select the time period for which you want to clear history
On a Windows PC using the Chrome browser
- On your keyboard press Control + Shift + Delete
- Select the time period for which you want to clear history
