Sanctions: Clinician Matching, Aliases

Verifying whether a clinician has had any disciplinary actions (sanctions) taken during their career is a key feature provided by the Axuall platform.  

Generally, sanctions are defined as the result of an administrative action taken against an individual or entity found to be in violation of an administrative rule, law or criminal offense by a state professional licensure board. 

There are several checks that can be performed to determine whether a clinician has had any sanctions in the past; but, it is important to ensure that the information returned is matched to the clinician to be verified.  For this reason, Axuall uses several data elements to verify the information returned. 

Note. Axuall matches on several data elements to provide a higher level of confidence that the information returned is accurately matched to the clinician.
